Felt profiled and uncomfortable during my stay

When we arrived, a friendly staff member who was still in training helped us with our luggage, and the room service team did a great job of keeping the room consistently clean.

We stayed at this hotel for six days. Some staff members were nice, while others were just okay. Overall, I didn’t find the staff members to be particularly approachable. Due to the rainy weather, my partner and I often ordered food. On one occasion, I waited about 10 minutes in the lobby before the delivery arrived. When I went to take the food back to my room, a staff member stopped me to ask if I was a delivery person. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable, especially since many people were picking up deliveries, and none seemed to be questioned about whether they were delivering food. I couldn’t help but wonder if I was being profiled because I am not white, which felt odd since I had been visibly waiting in the lobby before stepping outside to collect the food. Consequently, I asked my white girlfriend to pick up subsequent orders, as I felt uneasy about the situation and passing through the lobby in general. She experienced no issues. This incident, which occurred on day three of our six-day stay, left me feeling extremely uncomfortable, and I contemplated changing hotels but decided against it to avoid the hassle.

It was ok.

Clean and modern

The room alarm clock went off at 6am. Woke us up and ruined our sleep. No table to sit at to each room service breakfast. Food was delivered in non environmental plastic containers (should use dishes)

Wonderful 3 days stay at Vancouver

The room is spacious n conveniently located near the cruise terminal. My room is without breakfast n I did not visit the facilities, so no comments except that the hotel rate is very expensive.Concierge Eric is friendly n very helpful in giving recommendations.

For the price, I think the lobby and other areas and seating in the rooms should’ve been nicer.

Clean rooms. Staff was helpful in allowing early check in for one of the two rooms we booked.

Our bedroom only had one easy chair and no footrest or other places for others to sit. The lobby seating was not comfortable and seemed worn and tired.

Memorable

The Room was spacious and clean. It is an ideal location to stay for families, Business travelers etc. Stanley park is at walkable distance. Also the Harbor is at few steps away. Restaurant and shops are closeby.

I did not like the vending machine as it needs exact change to grab a bottle. It does not have the card facility hence grab a bottle of water or two from 7/11 or other stores nearby before going to bed.

Our BMO experiences were enhanced by the standard of the hotel.

The temperature of the room, the comfort, the view, the friendly and helpful staff. Also the availability of the spa/pool area for those of us running the full and half marathon to shower after checkout time.

Great stay at a fair price for downtown

Staff were friendly and communication was great. They allowed us to check in early which was a huge help as we had an event we needed to get to. We were able to pre-order breakfast delivered to our room which, although it was an expensive breakfast for what it was, we enjoyed the convenience. The location was great and we overall enjoyed our stay.

There were a few hairs left in the bathtub from the previous guest, but it wasn't enough to complain about, and surely it was just missed because they were probably rushing to allow us to check in early.

Great location, wonderful staff, super clean rooms, felt safe and would stay again!!

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Had a great room with a terrace for no extra cost! Hotel was comfortable and clean and reasonably priced! The location is great and I didn’t have to use my car while sightseeing in the downtown area. Robson street was a few blocks away and made it easy for exploring new restaurants and bubble tea!

Good located hotel, and very efficient staff

The location is perfect. The size of the room is acceptable. The shower, bidet, beds, and pillows were excellent

We did not have any bottles of water in the room. I asked to the staff, but they did not provided me any bottle of water.

More than satisfactory for a quick business trip!

Spacious room for the money. Location was ideal (only about a 4-5 block walk from Waterfront Station). Helpful and friendly staff from check-in to check-out.

Even on the 17th floor, the view wasn't ideal as there was construction happening a couple building over, the roof of the adjacent building was disgusting (and visible) and only a slight "glimpse" of Coal Harbour was available in between buildings.
