St. Moritz is situated in Mammoth Lakes, a popular skiing destination due to the awe-inspiring mountains. The shuttle to the slopes is only 100 feet from the studio. This property is also near the Devil's Postpile National Monument, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park, Lake Mary, and Rainbow Falls. Don't hesitate to take advantage of on-site amenities such as the recreation room with pool tables and arcade games. At the end of the living room is a door that opens to a large deck equipped with a gas grill. The pool and spa area will serve you well during your stay. When stepping inside the ground-level studio, you'll be greeted by a spacious room with a kitchen to the side of the main living area. The living area comprises a cozy sofa and an HDTV with a DVD player. The kitchen has everything you'd need to prepare meals during a vacation, including a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The main living area doubles as a bedroom once the day is done. The sofa can be pulled out to make a comfortable bed. There are small nightstands with lamps and a useful dresser to store your belongings. THINGS TO KNOW The internet in this area is unreliable. This home does not allow early check-in. Please remember to bring your pool towels; we only provide regular towels for your stay. The kitchen does not have. dishwasher. While pots and pans are available for use, as a safety precaution, consumables such as oil, spices, and coffee are not provided. Ski shuttle details: Bus stop for FREE shuttle located at the front of Complex on Old Mammoth Rd. (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) We had to contact the host as we were 45min away about how to check into the condo. We had no idea what the condo had or didn’t have as we had to contact them.
It was a good location. A little outdated on the inside. The studio had a very strong odor, smelled like rotten cabbage or dead animal. We did contact the property management which they said twice that they would contact us back with a solution and NEVER did. The bed made a ton of noise even if you just leaned on it. Being the downstairs unit you could hear every single step from the condo above.
Kinda bummed on how the property management never got back to us.

One draw back is that the building is older with a funky smell. Bring a scented candle or something to mask that. The sofa couch is not worth pulling out. The springs feel like they are going through the bed, but the couch itself is great. The bed is comfy as well. The site manager is very nice and helpful if you need anything. Unfortunately, the spa was not operating, but it’s really big and that was one reason I chose this place, However, the pool was clean and heated. There is a slider that open to a balcony where you Can sit outside in front of the pool with a forest vibe. The listing didn’t mentioned the rev room which has ping pong, a pool table, air hockey, a full kitchen, a TV and a ton of lounge style seating. Overall, I would go back as long as the price remains fair compared to the inflated rates of most places in Mammoth.

Close access to the slopes. Just a short car ride to the lifts
The unit is easily accessible, clean and fine for a short trip to Mammoth. Bring earplugs if you are in the lower floor you might hear your tenant upstairs and the refrigerator is in the same studio like room and is very loud.

The shower runs out of hot water in about 10min but other than that it was a very nice place to stay. After the shower, the water heats back up pretty quickly.

My husband and I really liked the place! It has everything we needed.
Only recommendation I have is that to have some darker blinds or curtains for the windows because of the outside light it looked like it was daylight at night.
We will sure come back again. Thank you!

Great studio near Eagle Lift.
This unassuming studio has everything you need for a ski weekend: a kitchen, comfortable bed, jacuzzi and location, location, location! The Green Shuttle picks you up right outside the front door and it's 5 minutes to Eagle Lodge. It was quiet, comfortable and easy in and out. We will definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect place to stay for a ski weekend at Mammoth Mountain. The studio is roomy enough for two with a kitchen, jacuzzi, cable and wi-fi. The free shuttle to the slopes is right outside the front door and it’s a 5 minute ride to the slopes. We’ll stay here again.

No Frills, you get what you pay for
The property was rated a "6" on a scale from 1 - 10 and that is exactly what we got. The room is small for more than two people although it sleeps four. There would be very little space to keep ski bags and suitcases for more than two people.
Although it is small, they did provide a working stove, microwave, full size refrigerator and cable TV . There is a small recreation room with a ping pong and a pool table. The parking is spread out over their large property of units, but I was able to get decent parking for the night

OK place, old tired furnishings, very small TV. Heating is two wall mounted fans that look like bathroom exhaust fans with no thermostat control. They cycled on and off all night. Not a terrible place, but we would not stay there again.

Good place reasonable value
Make sure what your renting is what you need. 1bedroom (separate room) or studio (bed and sofa same room).
Quiet, safe location convenient to restaurants grocery stores by walk but drive to or shuttle stop in front to slope or village.

I really liked the free bus service to the ski resort. Bus stop right next to property to ski resort.

Not worth it.
My wife:”The least offensive spare pillow for the kids is the one with the blood stain on it.”.No dishwasher. Broken (I think) thermostat on one of the heaters. Blankets with hair on them. You walk in after a day on the slopes to a weird kinda moldy smell. The spare sheets for the pullout couch were folded by the pullout but still wet! We literally had to put them in the dryer! It’s the first pullout couch where my kids asked me to just put the mattress on the floor. Stain on the blanket for the main bed. TV’s quite small. As I type this at 6AM, I can hear every step the people above us make as well as them turning the faucets on and off, flushing the toilet and walking around. As well as the early risers in the corridor outside walking by. Save money by cooking your own meals? Check out the 40-ish (?) year old push button GE electric stove and tiny microwave from the same era. Bring $4 or so in quarters to wash and/ or dry bedding, blankets and pillow cases. There was one small box of laundry detergent here, but we went through that pretty quick. The headboard squeaks at the slightest move so don’t roll over. Half the jets in the jacuzzi seemed to work. You have to use your own towels for the jacuzzi. Plan your showers so that you have time to dry your towels. On the shower, if you’re over 5’6” or so you have to bend over to rinse your hair. The alarm clock isn’t on. I didn’t even bother to check as to why. The spare key management gave us didn’t work. It looks like their locksmith used the wrong blank to begin with. Overall, perhaps on par with a low grade Spanish youth hostel? Although we didn’t have to share a bathroom. Carpet was clean. Oh geez, one more thing... the jacket hanger by the door had been pulled out of the wall a little. It was on an angle so our wet winter gear kept falling on the floor!!

For the very budget conscious
Small, extremely old studio in a good location right by the shuttle line. Management company was very helpful. However, studio itself is extremely old, smells, paint is chipping from the walls, could hear the neighbors upstairs walking around at all hours, tiny television, uncomfortable old bed, ancient appliances. Serves the purpose if you want a cheap place that you will hardly spend time in. Would not stay again though.

Decent Little Studio
This is a tiny studio in a very, very old building. Positives: close to Vons, close to the shuttle which quickly takes you to Eagle Lodge, rental company is very responsive. Negatives: Old, uncomfortable bed, paint chipping off the walls, smells badly, appliances desperately need to be upgraded, paper-thin walls which allow you to hear every step the upstairs neighbors take, poor water pressure in the shower. Overall, it will do if you are looking for a quick stay on the mountain and you'll barely be home. However, I wouldn't stay there again.

Great for the Price
The studio is a very decent size with a partially updated kitchen and bathroom. Shower definitely needs some upgrades (weak water pressure and old tub) but counters and sinks are all nice, clean and new! The bed and bedding could use some updates - bed squeaks every time you move an inch! However, for the price this is in a great location (very short drive from everything!) and is a great option!! We were comfortable and enjoyed.
**Please note parking is listed as included but often fills up. We came home after diner one night to no spot and had to park outside of the complex and walk in the snow.

Simple little studio room. Perfect for 2 people. Couldn't use the patio due to SO much snow :D but seems like it would be perfect for some fresh air. We cooked every night! Very old appliances, but it all worked! Price is perfect for what you get!

Basic studio, clean
This is basic studio. Bed is soft, which wasn't our preference. Kitchen amenities were basic and economic (i.e. everything worked, but was cheap or old.) Shower was hot, but very low head. Communal hottub was a nice bonus. Also, location is close to Von's (i.e. "town") which was nice to find a place to eat or pick up groceries. There is a Mexican loncheria-style restaurant call Delicious Kitchen within a 10 min walk that serves really good chiliquiles and french toast next door to a small brewery with some pretty good beer.

Good Price and Location
Lower cost studio with pull out couch. Served its purpose well. You are near a shuttle stop. Within walking distance to restaurants. Property management group has their act together so check in and out is smooth. Unit location also decent. On the first floor two units in. Super close to recreation center with pool table, ping pong, and hot tub.
