It was really isolated and quiet which was perfect, and the location was very good as there were no tourists around.
It lacked some facilities, for example like basic cooking necessities and there was colour to the room.

Clean simple small apartment. 3 people fit but just for sleeping not super comfy to hang out in.
It was so so hot. It wasn’t too hot in Berlin but inside the apartment just trapped heat and the windows don’t open much. It felt maybe 5 degrees hotter inside than out. They accommodated us with a second fan but it wasn’t enough. If there’s a heat wave it would be terrible.

The apartment had a nice placement close to bars, restaurants, and the U-bahn. While the reception closed quite early, the staff was nice, understanding, and cooperative when contacting the emergency phone (we needed to switch rooms urgently due to a flooded floor caused by drainage issue, but we could just go pick up a new keycard for another room immediately).
Overall, it was unfortunately not the best experience. First of all, the room was unbearably warm and had bad air quality. We needed to have an open window at all times to be able to be in there, even though it was only 16 degrees outside. Secondly, the shower drain in our first room was completely clogged, meaning that the bedroom floor was soaked with bath water minutes after turning on the shower (incl. under the bed), since it ran under the door. It was only a very lucky far corner placement of our luggage that kept our stuff from soaking as well. However, as described above, the staff (telephonically) gave us a new room immediately, and in here the drainage was able to perform as intended. Third, both rooms seemed to have been cleaned quite sloppily with stains on the walls as well as mold in the shower.
