Lovely location if you have dogs or like to walk

Coming from Munich, we just wanted a quiet location where our friends from Switzerland could join us. The hotel and surroundings was wonderful, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Gourmet dinner and wine were superb. One of our guests could be a Michelien chef if he wanted to be. Even he was impressed with the dinner so we thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit to Horw.
Taxi parking was not that convenient but it is what it is!

The breakfast was excellent, the location was ok. Close to bus, 5 km out of city
My partner was disturbed by the smell and was unable to stay. We moved to a different hotel. The hotel Felmis was very gracious about it.
