10/10! Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful hotel! So much within the hotel itself, swimming pool, spa and wellness, gym. Hygiene supplies in the room smelt and were amazing for my skin.

Hot water took a good while, the floor in our room has soft spots and was quiet loud when walking on it

Unlikely to return

Breakfast was excellent, coffee great. Reception was great. Valet was great - prompt and polite.

Sheets on my 17yo daughters bed had not been changed from previous guests and had hair everywhere. Took 2 phone calls and 50 mins for bed to be re-made. We had an early start the next day and got to bed much later than we planned. Completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one with 5 stars. Staff that were sent to change the bed were apologetic and polite. Also, we had tried earlier to order the ice-cream from the room service menu only to be told in a follow up call that they don't do ice cream anymore and that we could have either choc cake or panna cotta. Perhaps take it off the menu?

Always impressed at W

Fabulous location, very central. Room was modern spacious & super clean. Enjoyed the sauna & steam room, pool bar area would have been nice if we had better weather. Breakfast was lovely, great selection on offer.

Tried to book into the Spa, absolutely no availability for our entire stay, even for a 60 min treatment. Very disappointing.

A tad pricy but a special place.

Beautiful pool deck and restaurants. Great location - you can walk to South Brisbane and all over the CBD. Lovely staff.

We had a few issues with the bathroom fixtures but staff were quick to move us to a new room. Could do with more on the room service menu.

Excellent hotel for Brisbane stay

The hotel was beautiful, staff helpful, rooms very comfortable.

There were a lot of road works and pedestrian closures, not hotel fault, but tricky for walking

the stay is always great.

It is a shame that most of the restaurants were closed on a Sunday night so we had to eat out in the city, The may need to look at having another type of food outlet that opens for breakfast an dinner 7 days a week or rotating days that don't clash with others inside the W

It was a shame we could not eat in any of the restaurants inside the W hotel being a Sunday night or nothing open for breakfast on a monday Also find the parking is a little expensive when you are paying a high rate for the rooms

Hotel was very nice. Room was beautiful with fantastic views over the river. Would recommend.

Room was nice and spacious, very comfortable with funky decor. The pool area was really nice and staff generally quite good. Would recommend to stay and will come back.

Parking during the week is a little bit expensive but understand that is the cost of parking in the city. Pool area was nice but also quite busy so was difficult to get a lounge at times.

Excellent in every way! Great location, friendly warm staff, who were professional and a pleasure to meet.

Disappointed to see the same booking on a competitor booking site for almost half the price. Apart from that, I couldn’t fault this property. Definitely a 10/10 for our stay.

Lovely rooms with amazing view of the Brisbane River. Extremely helpful staff who responded quickly to our requests. We also had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and on both occasions the service was excellent- both friendly and efficient. Very good selection for breakfast buffet. We would definitely return.

Disappointing & frustrating for a property of this calibre

My partner is a platinum member and I’ve stay here many times and this was my worst experience. The goal of this trip was to come and have a night to unwind with a relative and we were so disappointed

The room service arrived with no cutlery? by the time it arrived our dinner was stone cold. After requesting late check out for a sleep in we were woke at 8am by a cleaner After spa use, we were locked out of our room In towels (we had both keys with number written) cleaner would not open the door even after ringing/texting reception, and trying to get authorised. Standing outside wet and my insulin pump beeping (type 1 diabetes) unable to access our room and told to walk down to reception!! Blinds malfunctioning opening and shutting during the night

A great hotel with still some work on the processes of the concierge.

The king view room was greatly positioned to take advantage of the New Years Fire Works.

Multiple times of excessive wait times on the elevator, valet parking and even just to our luggage taken up or down from the room! Pretty significant downside to an otherwise great stay.

Wonderful Babymoon stay-cay

Great Location. Staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious.

Not enough sun loungers for hotel guests around the pool. We wanted to spend some time by the pool after we checked in, but it was full. So, we had lunch at the wet deck and waited for loungers to be free, but it was packed, and other people were waiting too. It a bit of a shame the space there is so limited.

Overpriced for the low service quality

Great location, fantastic view

Housekeeping terrible, room only turned down in the afternoon and not properly cleaned. Staff at reception unfriendly and unhelpful. Waiting time for a tea/coffee with buffet breakfast on level 3 a complete joke: 15-25minutes. I was there during the week, so it’s probably even slower on the weekend. Bar obviously understaffed.

The hotel is beautiful, clean modern and has a great vibe. The facilities are excellent, from the music in the lifts, using a remote to open and close the blinds to being able to sit by the pool and order cocktails… nothing to dislike here!

Quirky and comfortable

The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful at the W. As two friends travelling together, having a room with two separate double beds was fantastic - everything was very clean.

I was on crutches, which I know won’t be most people! There were multiple accessible toilet/shower facilities (so accessibility has clearly been thought through). Despite this, doors in common areas that required key card access (or a button to exit) had the key pad/button really far from the door you had to open. It made it impossible to get through doors without assistance, as it would lock again by the time I got there. Moving these closer would make such a big difference for accessibility in the hotel.
