Cold shower 🚿

The position it's definitely ok very close to 5th avenida........the studio flat was quite big .

I have been there only for one night , but I was unlucky because , the hot water for shower doesn't work.......than I had two cold shower one at my arrival and one the morning after....... Because no body fixed the problem , at my first request.....

The Staff In The Restaurant Are Amazing.

The best part of this hotel is the staff (at the restaurant/housekeeping) and the location. In particular, these staff members are always happy, positive, kind and welcoming: Argenis, Miguel, Maggie, Neda (housekeeping). The location is also very walkable to the beach, 5th Avenue, Mega (grocery) and restaurants.

There were two very big issues during my stay: (1) The room was not soundproofed. I could hear the shower, toilet, coughing, conversation, laughing, music of the neighboring room. If there was a loud group in the room next door, it would be impossible to sleep. I complained many times to management, but there was truly nothing they could do. (2) I paid for a return trip to the airport because I am a single woman traveling alone. There were multiple communications issues the morning of my return to the airport--and not a single person on staff were willing to help me. Unfortunately, this meant that I had to quickly find a taxi (and pay out-of-pocket) for another taxi, although I had already arranged and paid for a return transfer with the hotel. Next time, I'll secure my own taxi and not ask the hotel to intervene, especially since they didn't seem very interested to help me.

La piscine et l’emplacement étaient bien.

Nous sommes arrivés devant l’établissement, personne ne nous a ouvert, il n’y avait aucune indication concernant le moyen de rentrer dans le bâtiment. Heureusement un monsieur travaillant dans le restaurant à côté nous a expliqué que le check in se faisait dans un hôtel 3 rues plus loin. Nous n’avons eu aucune eau chaude pour nous laver. Nous avons contacté l’établissement mais nous n’avons pas reçu une seule réponse de leur part. Très très très décevant.

Stay away!!!

The apartments are poorly built. We could hear everybody in the staircase (poorly insulated door) and we had another communicating door to an adjacent room (again we could hear the neighbors whispering). The room is tiny and the beds are so small that cannot fit two adults (smaller than queen). There was no hot water (and it was pretty cold those days in Playa). Even though we already pre-pay Booking we checked out one day earlier losing our money as we have not been able to sleep. Surprised that being the property managed by Holiday Inn they did not offer anything in return (well I guess once you paid then it is your problem pinche gringo!)

Loved apartment and breakfast staff.

Size of room (1 bedroom apt), breakfast and staff, location away from 5th, responsiveness of reception to a few problems and we rebooked for next month, as well. Looking forward to our return!

Slow elevator. Room could use additional pictures to warm up the apt. These are not huge issues.

Love this place.

This is a return visit from January, February. We enjoyed our 15 days then and 9 days in March. The one bedroom is comfortable, equipped and terrific quiet location. Also enjoyed the roof deck pool after a day at the beach. The breakfast restaurant downstairs .....we absolutely enjoyed the friendly wait staff Bruce and Miguel. Looked forward to practicing Spanish each morning. A lot of fun. Staff at hotel were very responsive to any requests we made. Love this place!

Another choice or 2 to add options for breakfast. The food was very good but would have preferred a little variety such as yogurt and muesli.

Solo booking

Location was great very close to 5th Avenue but also nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop is small but perfect for quiet relaxation.

I love that staff, love the location, love the facility, and I love the breakfast. The Lahun is exactly like the pictures. This place is clean and comfortable (I feel so happy at Lahun). This will be my go-to place when I am in Playa Del Carmen.

Very well located (close to everything yet far enough from the party zones to be quiet for sleeping. Great, large and clean room

The property is actually managed by the hotel across the street. That's totally fine, but it would be great to communicate about it - I was unable to talk to anyone at the hotel when asking a couple questions before arriving due to this.

okay and close to city

spacious room. close to City and Ado busterminal. two pools to use, also from hotel on the other side

super loud, could hear everything. dirty towels, even when we asked for new ones, we got super old and stains on them again. hair in shower. uncomfortable bed and pillow. breakfast is in a restaurant 2 streets away and not tasty. when we asked for vegan options, they said they were available although it was not possible.

Good location

Spacious room, good storage, nice small pool area, good location within easy walking distance to the center but not too noicy. Breakfast included and it was ok (not a buffet).

Sheets were not exactly clean. No chairs or table on the balcony.

Great apartment, wonderful location and value for money but it stank!

Great apartment, next to the 5th avenue which is the main shopping area with lots of restaurants. Quiet, big rooms and thoughtful accessories like mosquito repellent and after sun lotions.

There was a strange smell in the apartment - from the bathroom to the kitchen it just stank. The hotel staff were unable to fix the issue (though they did try). Parking is another challenge.

Great place but be aware of noise

Close to main street, friendly stuff, nice breakfast, elevator and modern room. Everything we needed, even swimming pool at top. Keep in mind, check in is done in hotel just in the opposite way.

Noise, sound isolation is very poor. Our room had common doors with 2 others. Even though those were locked you could hear everything! On the first night we had really loud neighbours and we had to wait for them to calm down before going to sleep…

The price for my room was excellent. The location is one block away from the night life so it is very quiet and I loved

Everything was perfect! The location is great, it’s close to everything (but not too close to night clubs and noisy places). Miguel and Adam were very nice with us all the time. The room is comfortable and clean and the bed is huge!
