Stayed here twice, and I’d stay here again.

Some meals were really good, some just passable. Good location, and very good that the collectivo boats would pick you up and drop you off at the Casa.

One bed that I was assigned smelled like gasoline, so they gave me a different bed. Not sure what happened here, but it was probably an honest error.

המקום מקסים ויפה ונעים מאוד הייתה אוירה טובה המארחים היו אדיבים וכל השהות הייתה נוחה ונעימה המצעים היו נקיים והיו מים חמים במקלחת שזה פלוס גדול יש סיורים בתשלום שיוצאים מהמקום בכל יום לאטרקציות שונות בסביבה. נהנתי במיוחד מהסיור של הרגאיי על הנהר ומהחוף הלבן. סך הכל היה לי ממש כיף בבית הורוד

Fantastisch

Die Lage ist klasse, das Personal ist super lieb und witzig, die Touren sind super. Mein Bett war sehr bequem, es gab Platz darunter für Rucksack und Co. Es gibt kleine Schließfächer für Wertsachen mit Stromversorgung. In den Bädern gibt es Spender mit gereinigtem Wasser zum Zähne putzen und die Seife duftet nach Mandeln. Handtuch ist auch dabei und es gibt Duschen mit warmen Wasser. Man kann direkt am Wasser in der Hängematte den Sonnenaufgang bestaunen.

Die Gästeküche war zu dem Zeitpunkt meines Aufenthalts noch nicht fertiggestellt, was mich selbst aber nicht beeinträchtigt hat, da es im Restaurant den ganzen Tag etwas gibt.

Parfait pour ressentir la vibe de Livingston

- Localisation - Vue sur la mer - Cadre « Chill » - Bien desservi par les lanchas - Restaurant typique, de qualité et au prix de la ville - Personnel très accueillant

- Douche froide - Bungalow un peu vétuste mais suffisant: climatisation bruyante, salle de bain rudimentaire et une chambre assez petite sans possibilité de rangement - Quelques trous dans la moustiquaire

Ok for a few nights

By the lake was nice, alas it rained a lot and was fairly cold in the room.

Ridiculous paying for hot water. . restaurant prices way too high, local eateries much cheaper. We're not in Europe.

Lovely place

I didn't feel much privacy in the private room. You can see everything from outside when its dark and you have the lights on. It was a little bit scarry.

There’s great staff working here. The restaurant is good and the hammocks on the dock are very nice for relaxing in the breeze. The lancha tour to playa blanca picks up at the hostal dock.

Unless you’re passing through Livingston, as we were, there’s not much reason to spend any time there. The beaches are covered in trash and the water is muddy.

Very good

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Good food and snacks ( I ate soooo many of the peanut snacks). Many people were coming in and out for the food. It was nice that there is a towel included with your stay.

Lots of crawling bugs in the bed and ground (as expected). I didn’t have any warm water in the showers.

Lovely hostel in Livingston

One of the most beautiful hostels I have stayed in, the dorm was over the water and had lovely views of Livingston and rio dulce. Staff were incredible, a mix of local and travelers. You can arrange all sorts of tours, I highly recommend Cueva del Tigre with Elmar! There is also a bar restaurant with local cuisine. Lastly they can arrange transport to Rio Dulce which picks up directly from the hostel for cheaper than normal price. I really cannot find a single fault here.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights to explore Livingston

Loved falling asleep to the sound of waves and the breeze from the big windows. All the staff and volunteers here were so down to earth and kind. Food is good too. Easy to walk to town to see the local way of life in Livingston and there are tours to Siete Altares and Playa Blanca direct from the hostel.

Would come back in a heartbeat.

Wonderfully clean. Friendly staff, though probably not attentive. Super location relative both to waterfront and services.

The garbage in the water. Nothing the hostel could have done to change this short of the never ending task of removing and finding some way or place to dispose of it. A great reminder of the importance of thoughtful use and disposal of our resources - especially plastics.

It was all really great. Especially like the sweet treats available at the bar, nice and homemade. Staff are really nice too

I get why the food is expensive (although not prohibitively so), but I would have probably stayed longer if it was cheaper. As a long term budget backpacker who usually cooks their own this was a little over budget for me but I loved my time there

Very good

Adorable hotel with a cute restaurant right across the street. Hot showers and good meals.

Our bed was very uncomfortable and you could feel exactly where the springs were.

Nice and chill atmosphere

The atmosphere of the hotel is really chill and quiet. You can eat in the hotel’s restaurant which serves great food as well. Behind the hotel also there is a pizza bar. The Livingston center is 10 min walking distance. If you want to go to Playa Blanca and Siete altares, everyday a boat comes to the hotel’s pier at 9:30 in the morning. So I really liked the location.

As a backpacker, I would have preferred to have a kitchen for customer’s use. But they gave me plate/bowl, etc and I could make my own salad at least:) If you like nightlife, there is no :))) Everyone goes to bed at 9 pm haha. But only Friday night there is live music at pizza bar behind, and afterwards there is a local discotheque which plays Latin and Afro mixes :)

Lots To Do

Lots to do at the hotel itself. I only had 1 night so not enough to take advantage of everything. The staff were nice. They have lots of information available for things to do nearby and onward travel.

There was a cat in the bedroom when I woke up. No power outlet by the bed.

Good place to stay in Livingston

Staff was helpful. When I arrived late (after 8pm) the kitchen was closing, but they still made some dinner for me. You can book tours and transport at reception. Food is ok. Nice location right at the water. Boats pick you up right at the hostel.

Cabins are small and could use some maintenance.
