About this house rental
Nestled in Ohio, this attractive house for $499 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Riverfront Vacation Home has 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms with Central Air Conditioning, located on 1.34 acres on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Back yard features private stone beach on the Mohican River, perfect for launching/landing of your own canoes, kayaks, or tubes. Easy access to the water allows for fishing, swimming, or river sitting while watching others play in the water. We are located just 2 miles down river from Mohican Adventures and 3.2 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park. Enjoy spending your days by the river or hiking at the park and relaxing evenings around the fire. Living Room: 42 inch LCD TV with HD Directv, Sofa, Love Seat, Chair Master Bedroom: Queen Bed, 32in LCD TV Bedroom Two: Queen Bed Bedroom Three: Full Bed, Full over Twin Bunk Bed, and a Twin Mattress that is stored under the Bunk Bed that can be pulled out and used anywhere in the house. We Sleep 10 in beds. There are two full length couches that take our absolute maximum occupancy to 12. Will consider larger groups, please inquiry first so we can have the property best prepared to meet your groups needs. Full Master Bath: Shower/Tub Combo Full Main Bath: Shower Kitchen: Refrigerator, Range/Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Standard Coffee Maker, Blender, Crock Pot, Toaster, several pots and pans. Dinnerware and cutlery to accommodate 12 people. Laundry Room Washer and Dryer. Screened in Porch: 4 Wicker Chairs Heated Garage: Pool Table, Darts, Corn Hole, misc Outside Amenities: Propane BBQ with Propane Provided. Picnic Table, outdoor chairs River Fire Ring, Fire Pit between House and River. The Security Deposit of $250 is a hold, not a charge, on your Credit/Debit Card from a day before check-in until 7 days after checkout. Your card is only charged if I claim damage during that timeframe. If I do not claim damage during that timeframe, the hold will be automatically released from your card on the 7th day after checkout. Since the card account is not technically charged, just held, the hold that you see on your online statement may just disappear instead of showing as a credit. I will always contact you to discuss any damages prior to charging your card. Please ignore any other posts that states we will collect the security deposit at the house. This is inaccurate and there is currently not an option to remove that language. Sorry for any confusion.

Clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of room. Large backyard, gas grill was convenient. We enjoyed our stay.
The pool table definitely needs resurfaced. There is a tear on one end and it’s loose which made it hard to make shots, but it’s playable to just pass time. ‘The heater in the garage was nice also. Plenty of hot water for the two of us to each take a warm shower.
The only thing I will mention is that, if you are staying for more than a couple of days, there are no spices, oils, condiments, etc… and it did state that in our welcome email, so prepare according. There are plates, paper towels and t.p., so you’ll be covered in that aspect. The place has everything you need. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to recline the recliners, and nothing was noted, but there was a few power cords above the fridge in the cabinet that you can plug in for them to work. We would definitely stay again.

Our family enjoyed our time at Tana's Riverfront Getaway. We had 7 adults and 2 children under age 3 sleeping there. There was a pack-n-play for the baby to sleep in. We were disappointed that the game closet no longer existed. There were 2 or 3 games (thankfully, we had brought along some of our own games). We could not get the DVD player to work, although we followed the directions given (thankfully, our SIL brought his projector over for us to use), and the TV was a bit small for the size of the living room. The furniture in the living room was all electric recliners, and we had to find the plugs (in a kitchen cabinet) and hook everything up in order to get comfortable. There were no towels in the master bath--had to find those in the MBR closet. No box of tissues, no hair dryer, no leftover spices or oils in the kitchen, NO KEURIG (which was listed). The dining room chair feet had pads that kept falling off. Also, the house was unlocked when we arrived. So, although our family had a good time because we happened to have access to the things we were wanting to enjoy while staying at Tana's, overall it was a bit disappointing and didn't really seem as advertised. We did not use the garage, as it was cold and rainy for most of our stay and it probably would have taken a while for the garage to heat up, as it was not already warmed for our use. With so many other options available in the area, I don't think we'll stay here again.

Our large adult family had a blast. Very clean and well supplied. Plenty of room and great location. The garage with games is the best. Spent a lot of time in there. Cooked all our meals there as the kitchen was very well stocked. Great fall getaway. Firepit by river is good idea. Super communication with owner.

We had a two-family quick weekend trip. There was not enough time to see everything this area has to offer! The home was conveniently located. The home was very clean and well maintained. We only hope to be able to stay longer next time!

Everything great. Couldn't go on river due to water being too high but great view and fireworks. Only problem was the light bulb is burned out on microwave. I couldn't see the knobs on the stove. Might want to check that. Loved your house. Sorry that I forgot my milk in fridge. Thanks again for everything.

Loved having the master bedroom separate from the kids rooms. Loved the garage space. The kids were in there nonstop. Loved that the dollar store was right down the street and I didn’t have to drive 30 minutes to get groceries. Literally all of our food for the week came from there and it was only $140. Super close to the tubing down the river place. Loved the swing sitting right in front of the river. Kids loved playing basketball. Didn’t like having to be so conscious of how much water we were using. Wish they had basic things like coffee filters and definitely need more bowls. Loved the reclining sofas. This spot was exactly what we needed.

We made the trip with our 4 boys 13-18 and our fur babies. The kids loved playing basketball and being right on the river. You're just minutes from the main strip. The house was the perfect size and comfortable for everyone. I certainly appreciated my own bathroom. Would definitely come back.

As always we had a great girls trips we have been staying in this house every summer for the past 5 years at least. This year the only issue we had was laundry in the dryer from someone else, and there were several light bulb out throughout the house so it was a bit dark inside when we were cooking our meals.

Didnt give a 5 star rating for cleanliness because of the cob webs on bedroom ceilings and bathroom vents and drawers in the bedrooms and kitchen that hadn't been cleaned in a while.
Also had a couple of burnt out light bulbs (kitchen and master bathroom)
Overall, we had a wonderful time with plenty of room and lots of things to do.

Great location minutes away from Mohican activities. The property is right on the river which is great for evening camp fires. Yard is spacious enough for lots of yard games and house was clean and accommodating.

Was out in that area for work, never been to that part of Ohio before so much to do from hiking, scenery, vineyards (ugly bunny is awesome) Amish country so close to go for day trip.

The house and property were perfect! So very clean and comfortable. Right on the river! Best part is they allows dogs with no pet fee so please pick up after your pets so this continues. ❤️Can’t wait to go back!
