Wobbly table, broken wheels on chairs. Carpet in the bathrooms in a short term rental should be removed. Great location, good price.

The property is very convenient and close to the gondola and the village. The stay was clean and comfortable, but the unit could use a little updating.

So when looking at the Amenities, one would think that there would be an Air Conditioner, or even a window cooler. So Mammoth has been very warm. So the condo has been very hot. They were only able to supply me with small fans. It didn't help very much. 2nd the freezer wasn't working very well. We bought 2 gallons of ice cream that melted. I'm sure this place is much more pleasant in the cold winter months.

We had a great summer vacation at the condo #30. Arrived check in with keypad code on door. Parking was non-issue as summer seems to be definitely less crowded at Mammoth Lakes.
Here are the cons:
The condo is dated. The furnitures are old. I would say very old. There is a simple led TV say about 32" with cable TV. VHS and DVD player. Yes you heard me VHS. No DVD movies at all. No VHS movies worth watching. But of we weren't there to watch movie but to explore the mountains and surroundings. The sofa bed is horrible. (Tip bring a cot, blow up bed, portable mattress if you need to use the extra bed). Carpet is practically everywhere including the bathrooms. It does make it warmer and cozier but in the bathrooms. Yuk! All the receptacle outlets are in bad shape and does not hold charging plugs very well.
Swimming pool was dirty, not the issue of the condo but HOA. So kids couldn't use it, which they really wanted to.
The pros:
Parking was easy and right in front of the unit. The walkway is a ramp straight to the front door. No stairs to climb. Nice and easy. Easy door access code. Infared stove works well. Frig works well. A bit loud. But cools and freezes fine. Did not have to use heat but did use the portable fan.
Not too far from Mammoth Village. Trash and recycle bins very close by.
Overall we had a great time visiting the city of Mammoth and all the places around. The condo itself was just fine. It's so dated, amenities very little. A refresh to utilities, furniture, electronics, would definitely give this a much higher rating.

This property is a well located studio/loft that was generally clean but is pretty dated. It is ideal for a couple or a couple with a child, but despite the two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) would be a challenging space for two couples unless they do not care about privacy (the loft is open to the pull out couch below). While the property is generally clean, we found a bunch of crumbs on top of the refrigerator and the entire space is very dated. For example, some of the dining room chair cushions are so compressed they have no cushioning left and the bathrooms are carpeted. There is a cute deck but it is taken over by a stump, a tarp and a box of wood and had no seats or tables. The listing also makes a big deal about "two" decks but one of the decks is actually the entry landing for the property, is shared with another unit, and has no furniture on it. Our biggest concern were two issues that matter for us when we travel and that, while I don't think they were intentional misrepresentations, were not clearly addressed in the listing. First, we need reliable internet and the listing includes "internet" in the amenities and states "Get online with ease thanks to the complimentary WiFi " - However, if you take the time to read lower in the listing (we did not) it also states the contradictory "internet is unreliable in this area" and blames the fact mammoth is a tourist town with old cables. We accept responsibility for not reading as carefully as we should have, but these two statements are in complete opposition to each other and misleading (Ease vs. Unreliable). We found we were bumped off the internet repeatedly (as for blaming Mammoth town itself, the Library has excellent internet, so I would say the blame is simply the current condo and building). Another issue we encountered was laundry. We travel planning to do laundry and that is a reason we select a rental as opposed to a hotel. The listing states "shared laundry" but what it doesn't state is that the laundry is not free. You need $3.50 in quarters for a load of laundry, but there is no change machine in the laundry facility. Thus, we had to drive to town to get quarters in order to do our laundry, completely negating the convenience of on site laundry (and guess where we had to get quarters given the time of day - at a laundromat!!!). The property is extremely well located and communication from the manager was excellent.

We came up to go skiing for a few days and had a wonderful time. The condo worked out great and was a short drive to the resort. The TV is not very good but we knew that ahead of time reading other reviews so it was not an issue for us at all. We would definitely stay again.

First, it is very good to receive the welcome email including all necessary info. When we arrived, the “lock box” code didn’t work. We ended to call and finally figured out the code is not the lock box by the door but for the actual door lock. Also, the main bed was very well sheeted but no bed sheet and bedding for the sofa bed. Finally, we found no coffee and sugar available in kitchen, we need to go out in the snow to buy some.

It is fine in general for three of us. However, few things may worth to be considered.

We loved the location of this tiny but cozy condo. The building is very old and it shows. The only problem we had was finding the building in the dark. The directions mentions third building on the right but when you arrive after dark, it is hard to see and count buildings. They can easily solve this but putting easy to see reflective signs in from of each building with numbers or letters so you don't have to count buildings in the dark. The place was clean and the kitchen had enough cookware and utensils. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and very old. I woke up with a back pain! The view some people talk about is just trees and neighboring buildings and parking lot. You can not see any mountains or ski slopes.

The entrance is at parking level, so no climbing or hauling luggage up a bunch of stairs to get to Condo. Very nice layout with 2 bathrooms is a plus. No automatic dishwater, but that wasn’t a big deal at all for us. Condo is very nice and clean, carpet looks like new. Nice little deck to hang out on. We have enjoyed out stay.

Weekday getaway
I was very pleased with the location. It was much closer to the town than I expected, so I was pleasantly surprised. It was also priced very well for the overall size and location. There was no snow on the pavement while I was there, but you would probably want an all-wheel drive to get in and out of the parking lot. There was an abundance of firewood, so there was no need to purchase any. This was also a treat. I would highly recommend that the owner invest a little money into the TV situation. The TV downstairs was very old and worked poorly; it also would have been nice to have DISH. The view was nice. I would stay here again.

No Response on Two Messages
I had sent two messages asking for a reduction in charges based on a 25 to 30% discount as advertised on your sight and never received an answer back. It was my fault that I apparently hadn’t checked the box for discount. But my messages had been sent well before we used the condo. Why hasn’t anyone replied?
