Hervorragende Lage und bester Komfort

Das Apartment war sehr groß, hell, gut beheizt und wunderbar ausgestattet. Es gab eine Senseo-Kaffeemaschine, einen Geschirrspüler und Sekt, Wasser und Bier zur Begrüßung. Wir waren zu zweit und konnten jede in einem Zimmer schlafen. Wir haben das Feuerwerk an Silvester über Amsterdam hervorragend beobachten können. Der Host war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

A very pleasant place in a central location

A very spacious room in a central location with a helpful host. It was very clean and comfortable with extra s like robes, slippers, coffees.

It was noisy so bring earplugs. Not the fault of the host, but the location has lots of passersby talking and we were unlucky to have a car parked outside playing loud music till the small hours. It Is very central and close to lots of attractions so this is a downside of that I guess.

A charming "old world" room in an excellent location for visiting the Museumsquarter in Amsterdam.

Wonderful location across from park and a 5 to 7 minute walk to both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum. Right on the tram line and less than a block from the blue boat pier for a scenic ride through the canals. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Also, a great restaurant, "Seafood Bar" was around the corner. We ate there two nights in a row. For a lovely breakfast, try "Cafe Americain" in the Art Deco Hotel beyond the boat pier (also about a 5 minute walk from hotel).

We could have used another bottle of water in the room and another blanket or two. It was cold for "summer" while we were there. And, we only saw our host once--when we arrived. He did tell us that he had guests for the weekend and we didn't feel we could bother him.

Superb

Amazing location, walking distance to everything. Very beautiful building with nice garden. You just feel authentic home. The host is super nice, nest ever. Shower great with really hot water. Place fill with love.

Nice old building with large room and comfy bed, better than a white walled square hotel room for us

Location was great for our museum visit, easy to get to by tram from the station.

The host made all the difference.

We went to Amsterdam to see the Vermeer exhibition at the Rijksmuseum, so location was important. This is within a few minutes' walk of the museum, in a quiet street by Vondelpark and close to a tram stop. There is just one guest rooom in the owner's home. Our main reason for giving maximum marks is the exceptional helpfulness of our host, who stayed up until well after midnight to receive us after our Eurostar train was very badly delayed. Thank you, Ronald.

Very good

The location is exceptional..literally looking onto Vondelpark. I loved the size of the room and the access to the back terrace

The toilet is across the hall from room. Not really a big issue as gowns and slippers provided.

Couldn't be better.

Ronald is a very kind host, the house is located in a superb place, and it's _the_ best value for money that I've ever seen in Amsterdam (and I live here for 9 years). Ook een prima plek voor locals die elders in de stad willen overnachten. The room was also really, really warm (and it was negative outside).

Nothing. The toilet, as clearly mentioned in the description, is across the hall, but the hall is small, so it's just two steps away. The place is ideal.

Easy, central, comfortable, clean

Central, clean, host was very communicative! had tv, coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge, bottle of water for us, and the other tea bits. plenty of space, and storage. easy access. Host was friendly and helpful, but didn’t bother us, great service!

The toilet wasn’t attached to the room, you had to go through a little entrance lobby, however it was private to us and was very clean and well stocked! I think I just misunderstood private bathroom for attached, so that’s my bad, but one to look out for

Sapcious room in a perfect locatin 5 minutes walk to Van Gogh museum, close to Vondel Park and other attractons. We had a lovely stay:)

very convenient especially if you plan to be out for most of the time, gives a good sense of a traditional Dutch home

though it’s on a quiet street, it’s nearby a lot of hostels so you can hear loud tourists and music especially if on the ground floor

Location was excellent and privacy was excellent as well.

Excellent and they adjusted the menu to give us more of the things we liked if we ate them up the previous day.

Awesome value for money. We wish the host all the best.

Amazing host and a great breakfast. The location also could not have been better. Very handy to all the sights and also public transport to the airport.

Was a weird dripping sound one of the nights, maybe from a pipe. But seems like a simple fix and didn't take away from our stay or prevent us sleeping.

The location is very convenient and the room is with nice taste. The host is very kind and friendly. We enjoy the short chat with him before having the rich breakfast in the lovely kitchen.

Wonderful B&B feel!

We loved staying with Ronald! he had great recommendations and served a wonderful breakfast each morning. The room had a homey feel and was walking distance to all the main attractions in the city. The location was also very safe. We 100% recommend this stay!

Excellent, no comments needed :)

The location is great, 30 mins away from the city center. If your stay is a city break, it is perfect, since you can visit the center by foot and enjoy the lovely streets of Amsterdam. Ronald, the owner of the location, is also perfect and his company during the breakfast was very pleasant, not to mention about the lovely breakfast he prepared for us. He also recommended us some good restaurants, too bad we were not able to make reservations, because Covid times. When I will return to Amsterdam, I will definitely choose this location again. Thank you, Ronald, for everything!!!!

Beautiful Victorian townhouse in superb location

Short walk to Museums including RijksMuseum,Van Gogh Museum. Across street to the lovely Vondelpark. Public transportation very close. Lovely old home, very comfortable. Great host and fantastic breakfast. Best for people without children since it is not a modern hotel. For us it was perfect. We loved it.

Minor issue that might bother some - Ground floor room shares access and bathroom is private but not en-suite, across hall from room.

The owner was really nice. The location is quite safe. The breakfast which the owner made was good.
