Perfekte Location (Union Square), die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und komfortabel, Preis-Leistung.

Das Zimmer, das wir hatten (wir haben ganz normales Zimmer gebucht), war sehr geräumig, das Bett riesig und sehr bequem, der Schreibtisch ordentlich und groß genug zum Arbeiten. Im Dachgeschoß gibt es einen Spa-Bereich, u.a. mit Whirlpool, und Lounge mit Blick auf die Skyline. Dort erhält man Tee und Kaffee den ganzen Tag, das macht es ein wenig wett, dass es keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit gibt.

Keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit; Rezeptionsbereich nicht sehr einladend, die Zimmer sind dagegen sehr schön.

Habitación muy grande, muy buenas instalaciones, moderno y limpio. El personal muy amable. Hotel superó nuestras expectativas quedamos felices

Estaba muy bien ubicado pero al limite con el barrio de tenderloin que últimamente esta lleno de drogadictos y homeless

Relax at a good price

This is a super location. We walked from BART station. The price was remarkable for the size of room and quality of fittings. Good traditional American Diner one block south. I would stay at the Donatello again.

There are people on the streets but they did not cause us any problems.

Excelent accommodation for tourists

Very nice 4* hotel in central San Francisco, big and very clean room, very nice bed, friendly and helpful personnel, very good Wifi and cable TV.

Excellent in every way. Appreciate that parking was $57, as compared to $75 at some other places!

Noise level in the hallway and outside with quite loud in the afternoon.

Excellent Location Excellent management. and staff

Very well located property, just minutes from everywhere, and the Hop on Hop off bus too. Staff were exceptionally helpful courteous, and nothing was too much trouble. Spacious , clean rooms too.

Limited Housekeeping services but we managed. Wasn't a problem

Would recommend this hotel to others. Would stay there again without hesitation.

GREAT service. Room was clean. Linens and towel high end and luxurious. Quiet. Great value. No tourism taxes.

Only flaw was some hairs noted on the shower floor (not ours). Bar needed better space and view.

Jazz up night in San Francisco

The location was perfect. close to BART and the warf. The local restaurant was excellent. Great food and wine and loved the live jazz band.

Another great stay at the Donatello.

Hotel location is very good. Rooms are large, bed comfortable. Has everything we needed.

We had a window latch that was broken and during the heavy wind the window was banging against the building. We reported it and it was fixed promptly.

very comfortable and relaxing

it’s very conveniently located near the union square. it has a club on the top floor where you can read, drink coffee or tea. The staff is quite friendly. The room is large and the price matches its amenities. there is a restaurant on the second floor wit live jazz.

the checking time is 4 but the club makes up for it.

Exceptional

The staff is outstanding: responsive, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are large and have a mini-fridge (which you can ask to be emptied so you can store your own things), a microwave and a coffee maker. Bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with towels. The bed was very comfortable and comes with plenty of pillows. We took advantage of the informal Club space on the top floor to grab some coffee and enjoy the views. A definite return trip is in order!

Great location and spacious room

The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from Union Square, the room was very spacious and the furnishings and decoration really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and organised a late check out for us.

Exceptional

Great amenities! Lovely lounge with hot coffee, tea and chocolate and a sauna and hot tub for guests on top floor. Very clean. Comfortable stay.

Maybe for one night, remember earplugs

Location, room was big and Google chrome big plus. Everything was super clean.

Noisy. I had room on 12th floor, but of course you can hear the sirens blaring all night long. Gym was appalling. Expensive Valet.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is bang in the center. The staff are all very helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was right in front of the elevator so there was the sound of elevator during the night

very good cost-benefit but not safe

bed and linens, room size was great club at rooftop with free coffee and tea is great

- security access to room floor does not exist and very strange people tail gate us. it was scary ! need to take additional measures - location us good but very close to homeless and drug addicted blocks makes it a bit uncomfortable...it is a SF city problem but when booking it needs to be considered - staff was lazy and not helpful
