Booking.com was awful I purchased a certain room that did not exist

The hotel itself was nice booking.com never ever use this service You sold me one room then booking.com switched it I have evidence and will contact attorney unless booking.com gets back yo me. Again this is my 3rd attempt communication

Nice hotel, bad sound insolation between the rooms.

The hotel is nice, clean and well designed.

We could hear everything from the other room, the sound insulation is just BAD! We tried to sleep but couldn't because of that. On top of the noise from the other room, there was a washing machine literally above our room, which made noise.

Friendly helpful staff, good location next to downtown, comfortable beds, but not worth the money.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us and what we were there to do. The beds were very comfortable. Even though we didn't bring our dog it was great seeing other dogs around.

The room was oddly laid out so that you had to go through the bathroom with a glass shower to get to the closet. If it were just my wife and I that would work ok but it wasn't a good thing for our teenage son. The lighting in the room was all from compact florescent bulbs. Our room had two queen beds and each bed had one light over the bedside table between the beds but no light on the other side of either bed, which meant two people couldn't sit in the same bed and read at night. Also, there were no bedside tables on the "outer" sides of either bed. There was one chair in the room that was not very comfortable to sit in and didn't completely work. The toilet seat was loose which is one of those things a housekeeping person could have relayed to facilities so it could be fixed but someone in that chain didn't care enough to do it.

Overall a good comfortable stay.

Beautiful property with excellent decor

The staff did not make our room the next day until we told them. We asked for toothbrushes which they said they will send to the room but never did. We had to get them the next morning. The pillows are a bit too bulky.

A very good hotel to stop before going to SanFransisco

There was a pretty big heated pool and a great bar area. They also had a hot tub. Food and cocktails were great. The room was big and the beds were very good.

There was some misunderstanding regarding the payment of breakfast. Booking offered breakfast, which is included in the price, but the bill was presented on the spot. In the end, the good young man at the counter realized that there had been some confusion and still did not take it into account. All good

Cozy room, cleanly, unique decor

Groovy spot. Very comfy room. Unique, cleanly, with a great beach vibe. A great choice for a more “boutique” feel vs. cookie cutter hotel. I would stay here again

It’s a decent walk from the beach, but there’s lots of public parking available close to the beaches/cliff. $25/night parking was a bummer. I wasn’t aware of that prior to arriving. Maybe I missed that in the reservation process.

Okay. Nice bar / restaurant area

Rooms were exterior / outside of the hotel reception, lounge, restaurant and bar, in motel style. Receptionist had a very unpleasant, rude energy, he needs to learn some manners and respect.

Convenient comfortable place that needs some upgrading

Pool area was once very hip but now is looking really tired. Hot tub was not 100% clean or hot.

I didn’t love the location and the hotel restaurant was way overpriced

A wonderful stay - we would love to visit again!

The interior was lovely (although undergoing renovation so didn’t see the full effect) Also loved the pool area and outside car service. Very relaxing after a busy day! Ps we left our travel plugs and chargers. Went back a few days later - nothing too much trouble. Reception managed to locate and return them to us! 😊

Very good

The swimming pool are was fantastic, including the ability to have drinks, served by a very kind and humorous waiter ! The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was very good too.

Hotel was under renovation, the whole restaurant was closed. we knew it, but it was annoying. Breakfast service was extremely slow.

We’ll stay again!

On booking.con. They offered a $14 credit per person for breakfast. When I checked in to the hotel.. the clerk was not able to see my breakfast purchase . I had to show him my email. Bit at the end .. I received my credit . 😁

overpriced hotel in good location

the bed was cozy. location was mostly convenient.

The front desk guy was very snooty. Also they made no apologies for the very inconvenient construction. Way overpriced.

it was a nice, clean and comfortable hotel experience.

enjoyed how clean and modern the rooms are. me and my partner got a good nights sleep the room was very comfortable and we felt safe at this hotel as two women traveling together. I would definitely book here again.

the only thing I didn’t like is that even though there was a lot of parking for some reason the parking was almost filled up when me and my partner returned late from a concert but everything else went great.

Frustrating.

I am sorry but our stay was not a good one. If I had known you’d be under construction, to the point of having to walk outside every time I were to go from the lobby, or from the restaurant, to my room, under the cold and rain with my 5 year old son, I would have chosen not to stay at this hotel. Furthermore, the restaurant is extremely understaff and the experiences there were frustrating. I understand construction is a challenging and transitioning time, but it’s unfair that your guests are having to pay for it, with a negative experience. Not to mention the absence of room cleaning. I leave my home for a vacation hoping I will have a short time of not having to make the bed, organize and clean. This is the first time I stay in a hotel where there is no room cleaning. If I knew my experience would be inferior to staying home, I would have not come.

Will be better when renovations are completed so there is a direct link between bar and pool/rooms

Room was nice, comfortable. Hot tub and pool was great. Breakfast was really good.

Did not know when booking the restaurant and bar were being renovated. There was a restaurant and bar temporarily set up in one of the larger conference rooms. I did not know this when booking. The pics of the bar and restaurant were one of the reasoned we selected the hotel so we could stay put and not have to head out that evening, which we ended up doing. Not our plan.

Your staff was amazing. The customer service they provided was absolutely outstanding . I would highly recommend staying here if you have a dog but my return visit will be because of the employees. They're the best regardless of my challenges they tried thier best to help.

The room was not clean. They don't mop the floors, there was someone else's hair everywhere, we're in 2023 no room shouldn't have a working mini refrigerator. Your guest shouldn't have to go up or down a flight to get ice or water. It should be on every level. We shouldn't have to truck our luggage through a parking lot without a cart available.
