Perfect stay

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel was modern and clean. Prices wernt too expensive. Bar was same price as pubs around Edinburgh so great experience.

Couldn't recommend this hotel any more. Just fantastic in every way.

Felt very at home and nothing too much trouble for all the hotel staff, excellent location

Staff all excellent, friendly and helpful, especially the Australian lady greeting us each morning for breakfast, showing interest in what we were up to each day and following up on our activity each morning, a credit to the hotel.

Beds were extremely soft, not much support, lot of noise outside each night going on until 4-4.30pm, appreciate this is out of hotels control

ripped off

We originally booked in the traditional one in the old town. When your renovations there ran over you reached out to offer our money back or get an upgrade - the upgrade felt like a budget hotel and we left feeling ripped off.

We felt ripped off - the night cost the same as our night in Russacks and the two hotels could not be further apart in terms of luxury experience.

Loved it but sort out breakfast

Location and room were excellent, was really busy because of the fringe but they coped

Breakfast Area and Service, room not large enough, overcrowded atmosphere, buffet too busy. The food on offer was very good, just not where you ate it

Edinburgh is a gorgeous place to visit.

Breakfast and service was very good.

The price of the room and the package l thought was rather expensive, we originally booked the other Radisson hotel but because off building work being carried out we were offered the alternative Radisson Blu with an upgrade but not sure what if any the upgrade was as nothing was mentioned on arrival?

Daisy was incredible in the breakfast room, Owen in the bar very attentive, rooms very spacious. Absolutely great week during the 150th Brittish Open and Script.

Amazing breakfast choice Room was huge and very clean Free bottle of Prosecco as it was our honeymoon

We had a breakfast bag the second morning as we had an early train - no spoon with the yogurt which wasn’t the easiest to eat lol. The rest of the breakfast bag was great!

Excellent stay in a spacious and clean, comfortable room.

Stayed in one of the suites and it was absolutely fantastic. Very clean and spacious. The staff we interacted with on the front desk and in the restaurant for breakfast were very polite and professional. Excellent place to stay.

The We Had been informed 2 weeks prior to arrival by hotel that external construction work was not complete and our room with a view would be obstructed by construction scaffolding, also that restraunt and the bar would not be open as we also booked breakfast, we were accommodated for breakfast in there sister hotel 3mins walk away. Hot drinks & snack bars were provided free in the hotel lobby.

The location and breakfast makes this stay worth it but wouldnt pay alot to stay again

The location was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable and the rooms were spacious. the breakfast was so tasty!!!!

The coffee facilities didnt work in our room which was a shame considering the price. Further to this, there was no mugs or glasses in the room, only plastic throwaway cups which for a 4 star hotel is poor and disappointing.

Great location

Location is superb. We got a free upgrade there as the Collection was still undergoing maintenance and they also gave us an upgraded room.

Cooked breakfast was not very good. Had porridge on second day which was much better. Room was huge but since it was on the first floor there was noise from the street.

I found the room a little clinical .. with no character .. some more decoration would be nice .. it was like a hospital bedroom

The size of the room was better than I originally booked but not the hotel was not as good

It was extremely disappointing to have our original booking at the 5-star Radisson Collection Hotel cancelled just a few days before we travelled which left me very little time to try and book another 5-star hotel on the Royal Mile. There’s no way you can say that this couldn’t have been foreseen earlier as the scaffolding was still up all over the building. I’m now led to think this was a deliberate act so we no time to book elsewhere and take your offer to stay at your 4-star hotel instead. This was meant to be a surprise 60th Birthday luxury treat for my wife but unfortunately staying at the Radisson Blu instead of the Collection was just so disappointing. I mean, this is the first time I have had to make a cup of tea in the morning using a paper cup instead of a real cup. The room did not look like it had been hoovered and there was dust all over the glass tables. My wife had to clean them herself. I wish I’d known about the cancellation earlier and I would have gone back to the Balmoral where we stayed before. This was meant to be such a special break for my wife who has had a bit of a tough time lately and I was expecting excellence but all I got was mediocre. Sorry, but won’t be staying there again.

Good experience at the spa but cleanliness in room was poor and service at bar was poor.

Location was fine .

No robes in room , had to contact reception more than once and we couldn’t spend more than 20 minutes in pool because of it closing . Poor service at bar, could be because of staff shortage .

Ok, but not the hotel we booked.

The staff was really great and the breakfast was nice.

We did not actually book this hotel, we booked the radisson closer to the Edinburgh castle and were moved to this hotel 2 days before our arrival. We paid for superior rooms and were promised an upgrade for the short notice move but didn't recieve one without repeatedly asking, then the rooms we were moved to were not upgrades, only what we had already paid for. We did however get a dinner voucher and free breakfast for our group. Additionally, the original rooms we recieved were dirty and the ac was not working in one, so we were grateful for the move even if it wasn't really an upgrade.

Great location. Not a great nights sleep

Location was great. Room was clean. Being able to link your Netflix and Spotify to the TV is good.

Noise from the street outside was not great whilst try to sleep Pillows were terrible, super lumpy Breakfast was ok but not worth the money, coffee in particular was rubbish
