The personnel was quick to address and solve an issue I had which I really appreciated. Otherwise standard 4 star hotel :-) Overall good value for money in a good location.
well the staff solved it quickly so in the end it was a positive experience. However, in principle I expect when there is some renovation work, the guests are informed in advance and asked if it's OK for them. First, I was given a floor on the 6th floor and on the 7th was renovation (which I could clearly hear). Only after I asked, I found out that there is a renovation on the 7th floor and the works were gonna run also on Saturday from 9 AM.... which I did not plan to wake up so early on Saturday. But I was quickly moved on the 5th floor and there was everything nice and quiet :-)

We have stayed a number of times on visits to Berlin and location is great. On the 100 bus route, and the metro. Just off Kurfürstendamm.
Rooms are a good size, and comfortable.
Really enjoy the spa and wellness centre, lovely space.
Staff are friendly, approachable and helpful.
It is currently under renovation, housekeeping didn’t refill the soap dispenser.
Shower oddly leaks at the step.

Very close to the shopping precinct.
There is a renovation going on which really impacts the entrance and the amenity. The rooms are very small and cramped and for a five star hotel, the lack of things like a Nespresso machine is hard to understand. All in all, a pretty disappointing stay.
