Fantastic scenery and location, would definitely recommend for the nature lovers.

We were arriving in very snowy conditions in the winter and the host cleaned the road for us. In general very hospitable persons, we made a tour to their sheep farm and our kids played around with a dog. House is very clean and location is fantastic overseeing directly the ocean.

Everything went well.

Beautiful and clean apartment with a beautiful view

Beautiful apartment with a wonderful view (if you do not mind the collection of cars and vans). Very spacious apartment with very comfortable beds, a practical bathroom with a nice shower and a very well equipped kitchen. Wifi is very decent and because you are staying on private property you can park your car right in front of the property. There is also a nice terrace with grilling facilities. (We stayed during late autumn so we couldn't use it.) Everything was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners are really sweet and speak a lot of languages (even Dutch which was a pleasant surprise)!

It is a bit faraway from the town center but that is part of the overall charm. You will need a car to get around (but I guess you have one since you are touring Iceland).

Very good

We stopped here for one night on our way from Akureyri to Snaefellsness. The apartment has everything for a short stay. In the morning a couple of sheep and a cat even came to visit. For more than one night it would have bothered us that all beds were in one room.

A home on your way.

Great location. Beautiful landscape. Warm and helpful hosts. Experience of a farm. Big, spacious apartment with complete and wonderful utilities.

There is only one problem with it: once you get in, you don't want to go out for it's too comfortable. Seriously speaking, the washing machine needs either some repair or a good instruction.

Modern apartment on farm in beautiful fjord

Apartment is right on the side of the fjord on a farm, the views from the living room and back porch were spectacular. Hosts lived on other side of house and were friendly. We walked around their large property. Apartment itself is very modern and clean, with all amenities including full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Single bedroom accommodates four people in bunk beds and twins, plus there is a fold out couch.

Liked it all. Be mindful that it's a few km off the main road down a gravel road, but the road was in good condition in August 2021, easily driveable with normal car. The property has a lot of old vehicles and farm equipment parked nearby, which didn't bother us, but just something to note.

Very good

Spacious living area, bedroom okay (bunks beds for kids) - but the spectacular location just means everything else is secondary. The view from the patio - having a coffee in the morning!

Beautiful location and really nice apartment.

Sad to not see puffins, but Annemie called the boat and tried. Was just early in the season.

Beautiful View

The apartment was so well equipped. We enjoyed being able to have so much space after being in the car together all day. The animal were fun to watch. There is a grocery in the town nearby.

Excellent apartment with a wonderful view of Skagafjörður including the famous island of Drangey a remnant of a 700.000 year old volcano and the home of the famous outlaw Grettir Ásmundarson a thousand years ago.
