Great host, great location, great stay. Patio is misleading.
Great location. Marc is an excellent host. All key attractions walkable in about 15 minutes.
Advertised private patio really isn't a usable space. There are few (mostly broken) small chairs but is otherwise an empty unusable space.

Great location, quiet and comfortable.
Very convenient location, comfortable and quiet but close to amenities, trams, canals, bars and restaurants. charming helpful host. Four of us were very happy staying here with plenty of space to sleep and relax. Bathroom was a good size with lovely hot shower as well. Marc is a great host who stayed in touch and provided good information about the property and things to do.

Good
Excellent location (walking distance to museum quarter and various central canals, a short tram ride from the central train station and centre of the city, useful shops and good cafes nearby); beds comfortable; bathroom is modern and good quality towels and also toiletries were provided; spacious and comfortable dining room and sofa/TV areas; all kitchenette electrical items were in good working order; green tea, coffee pods and sugar all provided; quiet location; access to a washing machine; host very helpful and responded quickly to all online messages before we arrived.
The only reason we gave this property a '7' overall rather than a higher score is because details about self-catering facilities were misleading. Truthful; but misleading. Cooking/eating facilities currently shown as part of the property details include: dining area; kitchenware; fridge; oven; microwave; coffee maker; and electric kettle. The property also has a toaster and a dishwasher. HOWEVER, the 'oven' is not an actual oven but an oven function within the microwave; and the 'kitchenware' consisted of 4 sets of cutlery, 1 dinner plate (one!), 6 small plates, 5 small bowls, 4 mugs, 2 wine glasses, various glasses for cold drinks, and 1 sharp-ish knife. That was it. No other cooking items. No glass or other bowls for food prep or for salads, no chopping boards, no serving spoons or other serving items, no kitchen implements such as a potato peeler or a cheese grater, no cooking containers ... nothing. There is also no sink; if you want to wash up a few mugs or wine glasses, the only option is the bathroom sink (we did finally locate a drying-up cloth so that was good). So, if your plan is to have toast/yoghurt/fruit for breakfast and then either eat out or get takeaways for all other meals, this property will be absolutely fine and you will be very happy here. But if you are planning on actual self-catering as in 'cooking meals', then your options will be extremely limited. Hopefully the host will read this review and provide 4 dinner plates and 4 wine glasses for future guests. Two other things to know about before you arrive (although they are not deal-breakers).

Superb
Excellent location, beds very comfortable.
The bed was in front of the window which made it very difficult to sleep with people walking by at night, I moved the bed and it was fine then.

Avoid this overpriced, misrepresented “luxury” apartment.
Location is great! The owner also gave us free passes to do a one hour boat tour of Amsterdam, which is really nice.
The biggest issue is that this rental is misrepresented and really really overpriced. I would not stay here again, And think that booking.com should compensate mean partially for the misrepresentation of this rental property. Let me explain. There is no curtain for one of the beds, so this is not really a two bedroom rental. It’s a one bedroom that walks into a living room bedroom and eating area. i’m not sure why the owners have not put up a curtain for the other sleeping area to at least give it a semblance of privacy. There are no kitchen amenities, like a sink, but there is a dishwasher in the bathroom. And there’s a refrigerator and microwave. But no stove. The patio outside it’s nice, but there are three chairs, two of which are broken. There’s no other furniture in the patio area. There is a washer and dryer, but the owners used at the entire time we were there so we could not do our laundry.

Marc was a great host. The apartment has everything you would need for a city break. Marc was very responsive when we had any questions and provided us with some recommendations to do in the area. Would highly recommend.
