The place met the expectations. We picked a higher floor to avoid noise and it worked well. There was a little crumbs on the floor like someone cleaned too quick but everything else was well cleaned. The shower coking should be repaired, Nothing bad but we noticed it. The room is small but comfortable and have everything necessary for a nice stay.

We were a bit surprised by how small the rooms were and that was a bit tricky traveling with my mother. We didn’t feel we had enough space for the two of us and were left wishing for room for our things. If I was solo it would have been perfectly fine. The hotel itself is very pretty and located fairly close to everything you need. The elevators were in and out of working order and we had to lug our suitcases down four flights of stairs when we checked out which was miserable. The rooftop bar was pretty cool but small inside. The patio was nice and large though, but too cold to enjoy sadly. Overall, the hotel was nice enough, just small and the elevator issue was frustrating.

Cool hotel in a great location. Convenient to Times Square and Broadway. Central Park is just a 30 min walk away. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms, although small, have everything you need and a super comfy bed. Great common area space to hang out in. Would definitely stay again.

I Needed one night in NYC and found Citizen M to be perfect. Best mattress and bedding in the industry, Great View and the employees where awesome, Location was easy and surrounded with everything I needed.

Great location. Good sized room. However, trash from previous guest in room not emptied. Button missing from wall panel above bed for light/curtains control. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great shower. Nice big towels. Breakfast buffet lousy. Would definitely consider this property again, but not breakfast buffet.

Great hotel! So friendly!!! The room was a bit small, but it had everything you needed. We stayed for four days and it was super convenient to the Metro stop. I would definitely stay there again!

The room is very small, it is even hard to open and store a luggage. And street view is a bit noisy. But it is very clean, extremely well located, and the workers are very kind. It is overall a very nice place to stay.

great solo trip hotel! I am a paranoid cleaner and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the floor I stayed on was quiet. Very accessible with multiple subway stations nearby. Literally no complaints (probably a first for a hotel). Definitely recommend and will be coming back

The room was small but very comfortable and everything you need to relax after spending time in the city. You can catch the subway right outside the door or walk to just about anywhere. You are already in Times Square with Radio City and Rockefeller Center a couple blocks away. Central Park is within a short walk. It was an amazing time and we will be back!

Top ratings for this hotel. Need a hotel in the center of things (Time Square) but far enough not to be affected by the chaos, look no further. The hotel is beautifully designed very cozy feeling and the staff are very accommodating. If I go again, will stay with them again.

Everything was good except when we arrived, the tablet that controls the room was low on battery, died and would not charge with the charging stand. Had to use my own charger and bend the cord for it to charge. Other than that everything else was smooth and good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Citizen M. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything you needed and was clean. The bed was super comfy!! It is in such a good location. We were able to walk to most places. We would highly recommend

The staff was excellent - so nice and helpful and kind. Our only issue was the elevator situation. They were not always working (at least not both) and seems like they could use another one. My mom is handicapped and our room wasn’t ready for early check in and we had to use the restroom, but it’s on the lower level and that elevator was not working. Later we had an issue with an elevator stopping at 7th floor and we couldn’t get off that floor to go higher on the other car because the system thought there was a car headed up but that was stuck. Anyways, everything else was great!

I loved the interaction during initial arrival. My best friend and I arrived over a few hours before check in-time. Even though the hotel was full so no room for early check in, we were met with front desk host who was very friendly and accommodating. It was such a relief to know they could store our bags so we didn’t have to lug around the city with our things. They even went out of their way to provide a few recommendations. To be frank this is what turned a 1 star review into 3 stars. With out this interaction I would’ve been left with the frustrations of the room condition when we finally checked in.. Some of the light switches didn’t work, the blinds wouldn’t come down, and the shower door didn’t shut. I expected the room to be pretty tight for 2 as I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a location in Seattle (newer property). It just seemed much tighter. The maintenance guy was able to come in & get the blinds unstuck but had to step on our BED in order to do so. At least they got a sheet I suppose. I understand with it being the new year, allot of places are booked but we were pretty disappointed in them not being able to accommodate us with a different room after notifying them of the first 15 minutes of being there of the room’s condition. Anyway, to end this review on a positive note, the location is great if your aim is to be in time square. Pretty walkable to great eats and entertainment. Be sure to bring your good walking shoes and be weary of the New Year’s chaos.

I loved everything about this property. It was all around an awesome experience. Friendly and helpful staff, great room (so fun). I slept so great, it was so clean and VERY COOL from a technology standpoint, lots of cool lighting and effects - everything controlled by an iPad. Plenty of storage surprisingly for the size. The bed was huge also! I LOVED the breakfast and a true barista in the morning. Great hot chocolate for the kiddo. And oddly enough the COOLEST umbrellas for your use. Great gym, living room, working and outdoor spaces. It was like being in a really cool house. Great bar and food. Did I say CLEAN… Loved it. Great experience, I would stay at these hotels at every opportunity. Will definitely go back!

I would definitely stay at this hotel again - very clean, friendly staff, convenient location to theaters, shopping & dining, & everything in the room worked well. They don’t offer parking on the premises but there were many parking garages in the area.

We had an amazing stay and are now looking forward to booking CitizenM in other various locations! The staff was amazing, our room was immaculate, the beds were incredibly comfortable and being able to adjust everything in our room from an ipad was amazing! We truly had the best experience here!

Self check in was not.what i like, but it was very easy and the staff is there to assit in check in process if needed. Everything is all digital and thr room is controlled by an IPad. Everything is very neat and clean. The roof top bar and lounge is breath taking view of NYC. The bartender is very kind and knowledgeable.

Don’t stay there! Awful service. They had a leak that had it raining in the rooms and lobby and bar.cold not have handled it worse. When stuff happens management needs to address with customers. The details of the night are extremely frustrating and inappropriate. Stay at a chain that has management and a level of acceptable standard of service.

Excellent location for my trip. Only products: vanity soap, shower shampoo & conditioner, nothing else. Checked in & checked out, no other assistance. I had to ask the desk clerk to open the door so I could get my luggage outside when leaving.
