Exceptional

neighbourhood is called The Beaches, and you are literally in the most beautiful sector of the city. a 5 min walk away from lac ontario were everybody can walk or bike along a stunning boardwalk for many KM/miles.

Superb

The suite was cozy and very clean, everything was exactly as described. Consuelo was great host, she was available for any need and make me and my wife feel like at home.

Pictoresque

Most of all we've appreciated the location: 2 minutes on foot from the lake, it has a small pictoresque garden as well. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the host was very kind and gave us suggestions to enjoy our stay there. Here you can feel like home!

It was an oasis of comfort @ the Beaches!

It is well situated on a nice quiet street close to the beach as well as Queen St E. Parking wasn’t a problem. Great place to stay we were very comfortable.

Too noisy for a good rest

Close to the beach, with very good restaurants, varied and non limited to american style. Very good advices given by the host concerning shopping : wonderfull cheese store and food store, for example.

My main cocncern is the noise in the suite !!! I don't agree with the desciption given in the instructions : a family lives here, with the kitchen just above the suite, so normal family noise can be heard btw 6-8 pm. Well indeed she lives ! You can hear every step, making the floor above crackling loudly, you can follow the conversations too, and count how many plates are used, for shure ! And finally, it continues well after 8 pm too, so, i coudln't stay here : the first time in all my life of travel through the world that I had a so bad experience ! Host you need to carefully isolate your floor before putting your suite in booking.com !

Superb location, great neighbourhood with plenty of dining options nearby.

Truly excellent location; approx 300m from one of the biggest & best beaches in Toronto. Clean, with toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, crockery, etc. Great communications. 45min cycle ride into downtown (bike rental close by). Lots of dining options nearby.

The room is in the basement underneath the kitchen/dining area of an active family with children. As such, there is sometimes some noise from above. Although daytime parking in the street was free and available (7am to 11:59pm), nighttime parking is permit only ; so the car needs moving to a public lot, or you buy a fairly expensive residents permit. Both options are fairly inconvenient.

Excellent location at an unbeatable price. Magnificent host.

Consuelo was a magnificent host. And the property was superb. It felt cozy, like a home away from home. Also, the location was excellent, close to bars, good food spots, and the beach. We couldn't have asked for more. Also, extremely clean.

If you want to stay close to the beaches, okay! Be happy. But if you want to see the historical and touristic sites do not stay there. It's too far from downtown. It takes more than one hour and there is just one street car that goes close to the apt.

The room was exactly what I needed for a very short stay.

It was a great location. The unit was small but perfect for me.

The towels - weren’t fluffy and were stiff The unit was HOT!

Exceptional

It was cold when I stayed, but I was able to sleep warmly thanks to the comfortable bedding. The neighborhood was quiet and comfortable, and there were many delicious restaurants nearby. Also, I left the dental retainer in the bathroom and returned home, but the kind host helped me get it back. Thank you so much.

Very good

The apartment was clean, there were a few products in the bathroom to use. When we had a small problem the host came almost imidiat. The directions to the Apartment were good.

The temperature wasn’t changeable, or we didn‘t know how to change it, but at night it was getting really hot in there. There is no kitchen only a Kitchenette.

Great location, perfect suite for traveller, excellent value.

Great location, minutes away from streetcar and bus. Suite was quiet at night. Comfortable, secure.

Location needs more external lighting! I arrived in the evening and had to use a flashlight to find my way down the alley to the suite. In the dark, I surely would have tripped / fallen over garden hoses + final step down at the end.

One of the best little rooms I've stayed in! Highly recommend!

Consuelo, mille grazie! This was one of my favorite places to stay. Wonderful location and a fantastic value for the price. I will definitely stay there again, if possible, and I highly recommend. The room was clean and the futon was very firm and comfortable. I felt very safe there and the area is beautiful! I actually might see if they are available again soon. I live right on the border in NY and I love to spend the night in Toronto for concerts. If I could master the parking, I'd go to this location over many others. Although I didn't personally need to meet Consuelo, she was a wonderfully communicative host and a pleasure to chat with. Five out of five for me! :) Thanks again.
