Beautiful room and lovely staff

Room was amazing, all amenities catered for, plenty storage, space for two people and bathroom was lovely. The bed was very comfy, and despite being next to the railway line wasn't too disruptive with the window closed. A hairdryer and coffee machine were lovely additions, and we had plenty of towels.
Our A/C was broken - we had planned to bring this up after arriving late on our first night but the temperature luckily dropped outside so we were more comfortable for the rest of our stay. We were also a bit surprised that our Do Not Disturb sign was ignored on our second day but appreciated the room being cleaned none the less.

Reception staff was helpful and very friendly, check-in and out went well despite system problems, free cold and hot drinks available 24 hours at reception. Nice view from the 5th floor with great large windows. Excellent location, close to public transport & good local restaurants, pubs and bars.
No facilty to prepare hot water/drinks in the room. Breakfast staff was very unfriendly when taking merely coffee in the morning on its own without a full breakfast. The bathroom fan was on all night and a bit noisy, we didn`t check if this could be turned off since we only stayed one night.

Breakfast, clean modern rooms
1) Location. Next to the rails, noise from the trains, homeless people under the bridge.
I asked to change my room because there was continuous noise from the trains. Since there was no room of the same category I asked for a downgrade. They gave me a quieter room at the other side of the hotel. No refund, just a small bottle of wine and some chips.
2) Self check-in checkout.
